I read an interesting article in the Wall Street Journal about economic recoveries in the past and what we can learn about the to interpret the turnaround of the current recession. The author James Grant is the editor of Grant's Interest Rate Observer. Among his books is "The Trouble with Prosperity." In this article he argues the latest gloomy forecasts ignore an important lesson of history: The deeper the slump, the zippier the recovery. If you like discussing the economy and it's effects on housing on Folly Beach come down to 31 Center Street and let's chat. See you soon!
